"When Mok-yi first asked if I wanted to try lion dancing, I only went because I had nothing else to do. I did not know anything about lion dancing and never paid much attention to the lion dancers during Chinese New Year. After going to practices for a few months and watching numerous professional performances, I was hooked. This initial time waster had become a real hobby and goal for us to achieve. I am proud to say that this diverse group has grown into a terrific team through the struggles and many laughs we have shared. What can I say? EAST RISING KICKS ASS! ROOOOOOAR!"
